Waterfall Hikes

Enjoy the best of the Catskills with authors and licensed trail guides Russell Dunn and Barbara Delaney. It's a five minute drive from The Lodge and only a moderate half-mile hike to the base of the state's highest cascading falls.

Next: Picnic atop the Kaaterskill, a slice of Paradise with wild mountain views that go on forever. Dip your toes in the cool swirling eddies of a swimming hole and watch the water drop more than 230 feet. Read the names of hikers etched in stone dating back to the 1800's.

Next: Set out for the falls in Platte Clove. This is a more rugged hike but rewards you handsomely with breathtaking views at every turn.
